BLHS GIRLS SWIM: Panthers brave Warriors for win

With the regular season winding down, the Bonney Lake High girls swim team picked up a 113-10 win over Clover Park Oct. 6.

The Panthers took on Auburn Mountainview Tuesday and were scheduled to close out the regular season with the cross-district rival Sumner Spartans at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

It was a sweep for the Panthers against Clover Park.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Ali Ehle, Janae Charbanneau, Juli Herbst and Kelsi Potterf won in 2 minutes, 43.61 seconds.

Katie Koens won the 200 freestyle in 2:44.48 and the 500 freestyle in 7:28.15. Herbst captured the 200 individual medley in 3:00.86 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:30.31. Elise Duncan won the 50 freestyle with a time of 29.04 seconds and the 100 freestyle, 1:06.48.

Potterf remains undefeated in diving with a 194.20-point victory. Ehle won the 100 backstroke in 1:24.72.

The 200 freestyle relay of Ehle, Herbst, Taylor Eaton and Duncan won in 2:08.15, while the 400 freestyle relay of Sarah Suchower, Alexis Richardson, Charbonneau and Koens won with a time of 5:18.94.
