Letter was just parody, go climb a peak

In response to Ron Weigelt’s letter concerning winter mountain climbing, I hope he realizes that my letter was a tongue-in-cheek parody of a previously published letter. If you guys and girls want to climb mountains in the snow then by all means have at it.

That was a great article on the Merchant Marines and I’m sure that the quote, “The war was over, but we knew what was out there. Everyone carried a gun,” probably irked a person or two.
