Sumner boys soccer closes out season

The Sumner High boys soccer team lost its final regular season game 3-0 to Bonney Lake Friday night at Panther Stadium, to drop its South Puget Sound League 3A mark to 1-5-2, which will not be sufficient to make the postseason.

Before losing to the Panthers, the Spartan booters also suffered a setback when the White River contingent hosted a game Thursday and whipped the purple and gold 3-1.
