THEFT: Police on June 10 were called to Andre’s Bar and Grill for a report that an employee’s MP3 player was stolen from his unlocked locker at work. The employee reported only three other people had access to the locker, but had no reason to suspect that any of them took the device. The case was forwarded to investigations.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: Officers on June 11 were dispatched to the 1800 block of 81st Street East for a report of a residential burglary. The homeowner reported that a miter saw valued at $600 was stolen from his garage overnight. The garage door was closed, but not locked. Police are investigating.

BURGLARY: Police on June 11 were dispatched to the 7800 block of West Tapps Highway for a report of a residential burglary. The resident arrived home from work to find their door unlocked and several items missing. Two guitars, two amplifiers, two laptop computers and two guns were stolen. Police are investigating.

DUI: Police on June 12 were advised by a caller of a potential drunk driver that was seen drifting across the roadway. Police located the vehicle traveling east in state Route 410 and also observed the vehicle drifting through lanes. When the driver was contacted, his eyes prepared bloodshot and droopy and he smelled strongly of intoxicants. The driver failed several field sobriety tests and then blew a preliminary breath test of 0.151. He was transported to the Buckley jail and charged with driving under the influence.
