Sumner library will be closed Wednesday from 9 to 5, open at night

Sumner Pierce County Library will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., while the city of Sumner continues its road construction project near the library. The library will be open Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m.

Contractors will shut off water to the library during most of that day. The water shut off is involved with the City of Sumner’s construction of an improved intersection at Traffic, Fryar, and Main in Sumner.
