Lockhart’s touchdowns give Wolverine Bantams 34-0 victory in season start

The Enumclaw Wolverine season opener against the Maple Valley Raiders had an exciting start Saturday.
Despite a loss, Jordan Johnson led the Wolverine Midgets with two touchdowns. Bryce Johnson and Kyle Couts added the points after touchdown.
For the Sweet Peas, Mason Donovan scored a touchdown. The extra point was made by Jesse Gregg. Several great returns were made by Deonte Bruner and Jaeger Ward. Ray Pennington scored two touchdowns in the fifth-quarter game.
At the end of the day, the Bantams won 34-0. Mitchel Lockhart sprinted for several touchdowns and the others were made by Alex Armstrong and Ryan Redford. The points after were made by Brennen Lindberg, .Lockhart and Ethan League. Armstrong’s TDs were on 65-yard runs. He also had an interception.
The Wolverines’ next game will be at home Sept. 11 at Pete’s Pool.
