Sumner City Council meeting will be shortened for snow

Published 5:05 pm Tuesday, January 17, 2012

Tonight’s Sumner City Council meeting will still be held at 7 p.m. despite snowy conditions, according to an email sent by City Clerk Terri Berry. However, it will be significantly shortened.

The schedule has been revised to complete the bulk of the work early in the evening.

The meeting will lead with a presentation for Police Chief for a Day. That will be followed by the consent agenda, public comment, unfinished or new business (the revised agenda sent out contained no specific items of business), and council reports. It is “likely” that council reports will be voted off the agenda, according to the message.
