Panthers lose to Decatur and Lakes near end of season | BLHS Boys Basketball

Published 6:02 pm Wednesday, February 1, 2012

The Bonney Lake High boys basketball squad, which has been struggling to keep its head above water all season, visited Decatur and Lakes last week and lost to both South Puget Sound League 3A foes.

Jan. 24, the Panthers fell 55-37 to Decatur.

Mike Gould managed a dozen points for BLHS.

Friday, Lakes registered an easy 74-47 win, although Panthers Mikey Berger and Gould accrued 17 points each.

This week will feature 1-5 Bonney Lake hoping for enough victories to earn a spot in subdistrict action two weekends from now.

One of four squads it plays this week is winless Peninsula High.

Bonney Lake will end its regular season with back-to-back contests against Enumclaw. The Panthers will host EHS Friday for Senior Night, then travel to Enumclaw Saturday.
