Lake Tapps downs Lakeside for fourth win | Prep Lacrosse

Josh Davenport scored five goals as Lake Tapps notched its fourth win of the season with a 13 – 11 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Lakeside, Thursday at the Lakeside Upper School in north Seattle.  The win advanced Tapps to 4 – 1 on the season, while the Lions slipped to an even 3 – 3.

The two squads battled goal-for-goal through the first half to take an 8 – 8 game into the intermission.  But it was two unanswered goals in the third that put Tapps ahead of the Lions.  With a 10 – 8 advantage going into the fourth, Tapps matched Lakeside for three goals to hold on to the win.

Michael Luccchesi contributed to the Lake Tapps scoring with two goals and two assists.  Gabriel Pascualy had five goals for the Lions.

Lake Tapps (4-1-0) next faces Curtis (2-4-0), Wednesday, April 11 in an 8 pm start at Sumner High School.  Lakeside (3-3-0) next faces Bellarmine Prep (2-2-0), Tuesday, April 3 in a 7 p.m. start at Mt. Tahoma Stadium.
