Giles’ retirement reception and open house scheduled for Feb. 25

The going away party for Becky Giles, the director of the Recreation Department, has been set for Feb. 25.

Giles retires from the department on Feb. 28, after nearly 22 years of building extracurricular athletic programs for kids and adults alike.

The reception will be held at the Robert Miller Gymnasium on the Daffodil Valley Elementary School campus in Sumner. It will begin at 4 p.m. and run to 5:30 P.M. The gymnasium is located at 15206 Daffodil Street Court East in Sumner.
