If you are a current junior who has signed up to take College Prep English next year, make sure you get the summer reading assignment from your current English teacher!!! In the summer, information can also be accessed on the Summer Assignments Swift Page.
If you miss the Film Festival, you can still purchase a film fest DVD or blu-ray. Pay the cashier and bring your receipt to Mr. Wolff’s room 415. DVD sales will continue until the end of the year or until the discs are gone, whatever comes first.
Students who have been a part of Magic Strings in the past are invited to a celebration in honor of Mrs. Madsen’s and Mrs. Davis’ retirement. There is a concert that starts at 2:00 Tuesday, June 11 at Southwood in the gym. If you can’t come until school is out, that’s OK. You could play your violin or cello with the large group or just stop in to say farewell and thank-you. If you have questions you may talk with Mrs. Kellogg in the counseling office.
All students who are in AP Calculus next year should be receiving a small packet of summer work from your pre-calculus teacher this week. It is due when school begins in the fall. If you lose the packet it is available on my SWIFT site. Looking forward to meeting you all next year.
Key Club Shoe Drive is still going on. Bring your gently used shoes to the boxes in Mr. Ihde’s room #321 or on stage in the commons. Your shoes will be snet to the less fortunate people around the world and will raise money to support EHS Key Club. No flip flops, slippers, roller skates or dirty shoes. Please!
