TODAY: Holiday happenings in Sumner

Christmas is only a few weeks away and the city of Sumner is in celebration mode today.

Join the Local No. 3520 firefighters of East Pierce Fire and Rescue for the most important meal of the day. Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Sumner fire station, 800 Harrison Street. Funds raised will be donated to programs in that serve local families in need. The cost is a $3 donation.

The Santa Parade begins at 3:30 p.m. through downtown Sumner. A tree lighting will take place at Ryan House after the parade.
