The Bonney Lake Panthers softball team played rival, Sumner Spartans, on Saturday, March 15 for the first game of the season.

The Panthers beat the Spartans 11-0.

Bonney Lake:

Martinson 2-2, two singles and 2 walks

Torr 4-5, four singles

Lowery 3-4, double

Charron 5 scoreless innings, 10 strikouts

Sumner:
