Award winning author to visit Sumner Library

Noted author Margaret Read MacDonald will share her gift of storytelling at 11 a.m. on April 25 at Sumner Pierce County Library, 1116 Fryar Ave.

All ages will discover joyful folktales from the world’s many cultures in lively interaction through song, chant and movement in a free event sponsored by The Friends of the Sumner Library.

MacDonald has received numerous awards as a folklorist, children’s librarian and author of more than 55 books on folklore and storytelling.
