Spartans end regular season with win over Bonney Lake | Girls Soccer

The Sumner Spartans traveled to Bonney Lake Thursday to face the Panthers in the final regular season game of the year.

Sumner won 2-0.

The Spartans finished the season first in the South Puget Sound League 3A with a 13-1-0 conference record and a 14-2-0 overall record.

Sumner’s only conference loss of the season was 2-1 to Auburn Riverside in late September.

The Spartans have since won 10 in a row.

Bonney Lake finished the season in fifth place with a 5-9-0 conference record and 6-9-0 overall.

The 3A districts tournament starts Tuesday, Nov. 4.
