SUSPICIOUS MAN: On Aug. 28 officers were called to investigate an elderly man walking around a neighborhood. Officers located the man who told officers they walked off because his caregiver was evil, but gave no explanation. There were no signs of injuries and the subject did not report any pain. Officers attempted to get the man back to the care center when the subject became agitated. The caregiver eventually arrived and transported the subject away. Officers advised Adult Protective Services of the incident.

PRESCRIPTION FRAUD: Officers responded to a prescription fraud on Sept. 2. Officers located the subject, who was talking on the phone and walking away from the store. The subject noticed officers and started to run, but was caught and handcuffed. The subject said they did not know they were doing anything wrong by trying to fill a prescription for someone else. The subject cooperated with officers in calling their friend to come pick them up. However, the friend noticed officers and did not try and pick up the subject. The subject was booked to the Pierce County Jail for prescription fraud.
