The Panthers’ Adam Fahsel opened up as a run-producing machine. In the season opener, he smacked a double and drove in three runs to lead Bonney Lake to a big 10-0, nonleague victory over Kennedy Catholic. Two days later, he had three hits and three more RBIs during the team’s 17-6 rout of Decatur.

Starting the season with a bang, Brooke Nelson was the winning pitcher, had three hits and knocked in a pair of runs as the Panthers blasted visiting Mount Rainier. The offense was on full display, as Shelby Welfinger and Melanie Torr also had three hits each; Welfinger drove in a pair of runs and Torr scored twice.

While defeating Enumclaw on March 17, the Panthers had a trio of two-event winners: distance ace Brock Frame took both the 1,600 and 3,200 meters and Cody Miller won both hurdle races and Caleb Davis won the shot put and discus.
