Editor’s note: This letter is in response to the letter, “Have you looked at downtown lately,” published March 13.

Ms. Hurst needs to turn to her spouse, former State Representative Christopher Hurst, for clarity on new construction.

As passed the legislature in 1990, The Growth Management Act is the culprit to a plethora of issues including transportation and affordable housing.

Cities and counties need growth to survive the tsunami of taxes from the demsocialists insatiable appetite to extort from taxpayers, or they they will be crushed.
