The Enumclaw High football team improved to 3-0 last week while the White River crew suffered its third straight defeat. Taking to the road Friday, Enumclaw thumped the Steilacoom Sentinels 42-0; in their three victories, EHS has outscored the opposition 90-19. Playing Thursday of last week, White River fell 42-14 to the visiting Orting Cardinals. This week, Enumclaw is on the road Friday night for a game against Orting; on Thursday, White River travels to Tacoma to face the 0-3 Foss Falcons. Sept. 21: Boys/girls golf vs. Foss, 3:15 p.m. at Meadow Park Golf Course. Girls’ swim and dive vs. Steilacoom and White River, 3:30 p.m. at the Clover Park H.S. pool (Lakewood). Girls’ soccer at White River, 7 p.m.

Sept. 22: Football at Orting, 7 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium.

Sept. 23: Boys/girls cross country at The Mook Invitational at Alderbrook (Tillamook, Oregon).

Sept. 24: Nothing scheduled.

Sept. 25: Volleyball at Steilacoom, 7:15 p.m.

Sept. 26: Girls/boys golf vs. Franklin Pierce, 3 p.m. at Enumclaw Golf Course. Volleyball hosts White River, 7:15 p.m. Girls’ swim and dive hosts Foss, 3:30 p.m. at Enumclaw Aquatic Center.

Sept. 20: Boys/girls cross country vs. multiple opponents, 3:30 p.m. at Columbia Junior High in Fife. Boys’ tennis hosts Clover Park, 3:30 p.m.

Sept. 21: Girls/boys golf host Steilacoom, 3:15 p.m. at Enumclaw Golf Course. Girls’ swim and dive vs. Enumclaw and Steilacoom, 3:30 p.m. at the Clover Park H.S. pool (Lakewood). Football vs. Foss, 7 p.m. at Mount Tahoma H.S. Girls’ soccer hosts Enumclaw, 7 p.m.
