Man arrested after shots fired at local RV park

A man was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of assault, discharging a firearm, and felony harassment after shots were fired near an individual at Uncle John’s RV park outside Buckley.
Pierce County deputies and the Buckley Police Department responded to a report of shots around 9:46 p.m.
According to PIO Carly Cappetto, officers discovered an intoxicated 48-year-old male in possession of a firearm.
Witnesses told officers that the man was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with his wife and son before then going over to a nearby RV unit and pointed a firearm at the neighbor, threatening to kill him.
Two shots were fired in the direction of the neighbor and a third into the ground. No one was injured.
The man, who was not identified as of Monday morning, was booked into the Pierce County Jail for fourth and first degree assault, fourth degree domestic violence assault, felony harassment, and two counts of discharging a firearm.
