White River Fastpitch: Hornets take out Washington in the first round

White River High’s fastpitch softball team has just defeated Washington High in the first round of the 2A district tournament at Sprinker Recreation Center.
The Hornets beat the Patriots 12-2 in six innings.
The team moves on to the next round and will play Sequim High at 6 p.m.
