What Happened at the Metropolitan King County Council

At today’s Council meeting, Councilmembers:

–Recognized retiring King County Auditor Cheryle Broom for her outstanding public service to King County.

Unanimously adopted an ordinance authorizing an interlocal agreement for the creation of a King county Investigative Response Team in order to provide mutual aid police services (Substitute Ordinance 2013-0169.2)

Unanimously approved a motion related to the transfer of retired vanpool vans to nonprofit organizations and local governments to meet the needs of low-income, elderly, disabled and young county citizens (Motion 2013-0246).
