The Enumclaw High girls are on the hardwood, taking shots and rebounding.

Coach Mindi Dribnak said the Hornets are a cohesive core group, which includes five seniors and two juniors.

Among the players to watch for is all-around athlete Sam Engebretsen, a junior who was a second-team, all-league pick last season.

Kylie Rademacher, who was an honorable mention selection last season, is also back on court.

The Hornets will feature an athletic group of girls capable of attacking the hoop and stopping opponents.

“Our league will be tough this season,” Dribnak said. “But we look to be competitive through hard work and aggressive play on both ends of the court.”
