Accident claims one life

The Washington State Patrol reports a fatality accident on state Route 164 Friday afternoon.

According to a report from the Department of Transportation, the collision occurred around 3:52 p.m. and was blocking both directions of state Route 164 near 208th Street.

State Patrol confirmed one fatality and one person airlifted.

Troopers and aid were on the scene. No other details were available at the time.
