At today’s Council meeting, Councilmembers:

• Held for one week an ordinance related to siting of recreational marijuana businesses (Ordinance 2013-0472).
• Unanimously adopted an ordinance authorizing the King County executive to enter into amendments to interlocal cooperation agreements with the cities of Kent and Seattle for the disbursement of conservation futures tax levy funds (Ordinance 2013-0469).
• Unanimously adopted an ordinance authorizing the King County executive to execute an amendment to the interlocal agreement with the King County flood control zone district extending the duration of the interlocal agreement through December 31, 2014(Ordinance 2013-0495).
• Approved an ordinance relating to how the County will honor civilian immigration hold requests from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for individuals in the custody of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (Substitute Ordinance 2013-0285.2).
