State Route 410 in Bonney Lake was blocked briefly Thursday afternoon following a car vs pedestrian accident near the intersection of Main Street in the city’s Downtown core.

According to Bonney Lake Police, a truck traveling westbound struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the highway. According to witnesses, the driver was not at fault.

The pedestrian was being treated by east Pierce Fire and Rescue for minor injuries.

No citations are expected to be filed against the driver.
