POINTING A WEAPON: Officers were called on Aug. 26 when the reporting party saw the subject pointing a gun at people in front of a store. Officers were advised later that the subject put the gun behind a soda machine before entering the store. Officers located the weapon, which turned out to be a sheathed two-inch metal sword. Officers located the subject who was using the sword and said they found it outside behind the vending machine, and it was not his. While officers were arresting the subject, items they lifted from the store fell out of their backpack. Further search also revealed crystal meth. The subject was booked into the Pierce County Jail.

STOLEN CAR: Officers were dispatched to a department store parking lot on Aug. 30 when the reporting party realized their car was stolen. The owner of the car did not know who would steal it, and they still had the keys in their possession.
