GIRLS SOCCER: Moorehouse scored 3 goals in Bonney Lake’s 6-0 win over Cardinals

Savanna Moorehouse scored three goals and goalkeeper Rendi Johnson recorded the shutout in the Bonney Lake Panthers 6-0 win over Franklin Pierce in South Puget Sound League 3A action Oct. 6 at Panther Field.

All of the Panthers’ goal came in the second half. Hillary Colbert scored off a Brianna Jones assist in the 42nd minute of play, then Moorehouse scored her first goal three minutes later on a Colbert assist.

Jones scored an unassisted goal in the 51st minute, then Alicia Bowman made it 4-0 in the 58th minute on a Moorehouse assist.

Moorehouse scored her final two goals in the final fifth minutes of play. Hailey Cannon and Jenny Dewitz recorded the assist.

Bonney Lake will host Clover Park Oct. 8 in SPSL 3A play. Game time is 7 p.m.
