Sumner trounces Orting again 3-0 | Sumner Baseball

Sumner’s baseball team defeated Orting for the second time this week following a 3-0 conference game Tuesday.

The Spartans took single runs in the second, fifth and sixth innings.

Bryan Adkins took 1-RBI during three times at bat, and hit a double.

On the mound, winning Sumner pitcher Logan Christensen struck out Orting players 12 times.

The Spartans play Steilacoom away Wednesday. The Spartans are 4-0 in the South Puget Sound League 2A conference.
