Beverly Kobe tallied three goalsas the Class 3A's 10th-ranked Panthers slammed Lakes, 9-2

Beverly Kobe tallied three goals, Hillary Colbert and Hailey Cannon scored two others as the Class 3A’s 10th-ranked Panthers slammed Lakes, 9-2, in South Puget Sound League 3A action at Panther Field.

Kobe, a junior, scored all her goals in the second half. She scored in the 60th minute on a Savanna Moorehouse assist, then in the 72nd on Colbert’s assist and a minute later nailed an unassisted goal.

Moorehouse opened up the scoring in the first minute of play off a Cannon assist.

Before intermission, Colbert scored off a Kassandra Blakely assist. Colbert scored in the 63rd minute on a Jenny Dewitz assist.

Cannon scored in the 49th on a penalty kick and 76th minute from an assist by Colbert.

The win improved the Panthers’ record to 4-0-0 in league play and 9-1-1 overall.
