Spartans season comes to an end | Sumner Football

The Sumner Spartans traveled to Bellevue Friday to face the state top team in the first round of the state tournament.

Sumner lost 38-0 to the undefeated Wolverines.

Despite a tough first half, the Spartans held on and did not allow Bellevue to score in the second half.

Sumner got close to the end zone on a number of occasions but were unable to cross the goal line.
