First Born: Pierce County’s first baby of 2011 born to mother from Bonney Lake

Pierce County’s first official new resident of 2011 made her appearance just after midnight on New Year’s Day.
Alaina Darlene Leifeste was born at 12:04 a.m. Jan. 1 at the Birthing Inn in Tacoma to Stephanie D. Kaydus of Bonney Lake and Doug Leifeste of Enumclaw.
