City, MultiCare sponsoring Healthy Living Expo

The city of Bonney Lake and MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital are sponsoring the Healthy Living Expo this summer.

According to Senior Services Assistant Staci Guirsch, the event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 24 at Allen Yorke Park.

Guirsch said the mission of the expo is to educate the entire family on healthy living, provide comprehensive and personalized care in a welcome environment and increase awareness of resources available in their community and surrounding area.

She said the event is an excellent opportunity to share an organization’s information and socialize with the Bonney Lake community.

“We’re looking for individuals to participate in providing seminars or entertainment,” Guirsch said.

Booth spaces are limited and available on a fírst-come, first-served basis. The charge will be $25 per booth space; however, if an organization has a nonprofit status there is no charge. Electricity is available at no extra charge.

Groups must sign up for electricity on their applicatíon; it will not be available to add on to a booth the day of the event.
