The Enumclaw High School water polo team is putting the playoff touches on another impressive season.

The squad captured the No. 1 seed in the East Division and will take on Inglemoor High, the No. 4 club from the North Division, to open the Region 1 tournament.

Action is set to begin at 6:45 p.m. Friday at Rogers High School.

With an 8-2 record, Enumclaw won its third straight East title.

Tuesday, the team played its final regular-season game, celebrating Senior Night with a game against the Tahoma Bears at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center.

The team’s overall record improved to 17-6 Thursday with a 12-3 victory over South Kitsap.

Leading the way for the Hornets was Grace Munnell, who scored five goals.
