A dog stabbing in Carbonado, “ding dong ditch” in Black Diamond, and loose bulls in Enumclaw.

BUCKLEY

Sept. 26

– While on patrol, officers observed a car speeding and failing to stop at stop signs on SR 410 and Main Street around 9:49 p.m. The vehicle fled from police, and officers learned the car was stolen. Police attempted a PIT stop but was unsuccessful. The car hit several mailboxes and continued to speed, so officers stopped the pursuit. Pierce County deputies tried to spike the vehicle, but were also unsuccessful.

Sept. 28

– Officers were dispatched to 3rd Street in Carbonado around 1:23 a.m. to a domestic violence report. While en route, police were told a male was stabbing the family dog, but a woman was able to bring the dog inside and lock the man out. He then proceeded to kill a chicken and fled on foot. An initial search for the man was unsuccessful while other officers took the dog to a emergency vet hospital.

Police then received a report of the man breaking back into the home, and officers were able to arrest him — but not before he killed a second dog and fatally wounded a third.

The first dog is expected to live.

Sept. 29

– Police responded to a domestic violence report on Cascade Street around 8:25 p.m. The male was bleeding from his head, and the female had left the area. An investigation revealed the woman assaulted the man. Reports came in later of a woman walking around Park Place Manor and Fulton Street; she was located and found to be highly intoxicated, and was subsequently arrested.

ENUMCLAW

Oct. 6

– Police fielded a report of a newborn left alone in a car on Roosevelt Avenue around 11:18 a.m. The parent was located and counseled.

– Officers were advised of an indecent exposure on Stevenson Avenue around 7:43 p.m

– Police spotted a suspicious vehicle in the QFC parking lot around 10:42 p.m. The car had overheated and the occupants were waiting to leave.

Oct. 7

– Officers were called around 1:08 a.m. regarding two found bulls or steers.

– Police were dispatched to Battersby to watch over a two car collision on SR 410 and 252nd Avenue around 2:19 p.m.; there were no injuries, but one car was towed.

– Officers stopped a subject on Battersby Avenue and made a warrant arrest around 2:40 p.m.

– Police were able to locate the owner of a found dog at Thunder Mountain Middle School around 8:26 p.m.

Oct. 8

– Officers assisted the Buckley police department on Cedar Street around 10:41 a.m. giving a subject a courtesy ride to the hospital.

– Police received a report of a patient who eloped from St. Elizabeth Hospital around 4:23 p.m.

Oct. 9

– Officers fielded a call about loose bulls around 264th Avenue SE around 6:23 a.m. The owner was located and contacted.

– Police were dispatched to Pioneer Street and Griffin Avenue to an assault in progress around 4:16 p.m. One subject was arrested and booked.

Oct. 10

– Officers spotted a cat that had been hit by a car on Harding Street and Griffin Avenue around 6:14 a.m. The animal was transported to a vet hospital.

– Police assisted firefighters in putting out a smoldering fire on Cole Street, near the public bathrooms, around 9:03 a.m.

– Officers spotted a vehicle that belonged to a subject with a felony warrant on Grand Fir Drive around 9:51 a.m. The subject could not be located.

– Police spotted a man with a warrant on Fell Street around 2:29 p.m. They were arrested.

– Officers were alerted to a subject following people on a motor bike on Roosevelt Avenue around 10:34 p.m. When police arrived, the subject fled, crashed the bike, and got back on to flee the scene.

Oct. 12

– Police responded to a fight in front of the 7/11 around 3:17 a.m. The victim did not want aid; no charges at that time.

– Officers were called to a Roosevelt Avenue business to trespass a subject around 5:59 p.m. The subject had multiple warrants and was arrested and booked.

BLACK DIAMOND

Oct. 2

– Officers were called around 8:30 p.m. regarding a reckless driver on SE Fir Street. Police located the vehicle parked on Morgan Street, with the driver inside. No reckless driving was observed.

Oct. 3

– A single vehicle collision on 3rd Avenue around 4:08 a.m. resulted in a DUI arrest.

Oct. 4

– Police received a call from a Fir Street resident around 10:51 a.m.; they wanted to talk to officers about multiple packages being delivered to their home. Police determined no crime was being committed.

– Officers took possession of a starter pistol for destruction around 12:51 p.m.

Oct. 5

– Police were alerted to a missing horse from Merino Place around 12:10 p.m.

– Officers were told Federal Way police arrested a subject with a Black Diamond warrant around 1:40 p.m.; they were booked into the Enumclaw jail.

– Police were called by a 229th Place SE resident who wanted to report someone playing “ding dong ditch” around 10:06 p.m. Officers were unable to locate a subject.

Oct. 6

– Officers were informed of a stolen utility vehicle from 3rd Avenue; it was taken around Sept. 29 or 30.

Oct. 7

– Police responded to a vehicle collision on 3rd Avenue around 5:56 a.m. One party suffered minor injuries; the other was cited for following too close.

– Officers on patrol observed a stolen vehicle on SE Dogwood Street around 11:26 p.m. It was impounded.
