I just saw another Wounded Warriors Project commercial and it really made me start thinking about how many charitable organizations there are specifically aimed at veterans, so I checked: 45,000.

I think we all know how many there should be, let me answer that: none.

Our government has no problem sending our young men and women off to fight and die and become maimed and broken, both physically and mentally, but when it comes time to help them with their physical and mental problems they just keep cutting and cutting funding for the veterans administration.

Well, it’s time for that trend to be reversed. It’s time for a concerted effort by all of us citizens to get on board and contact our representatives and senators non-stop until the necessary funding is provided the veterans administration to take care of any and all of the needs of our veterans. Let’s make this a movement that doesn’t shut up until it’s accomplished. I think we can all agree, no matter our politics, that this needs to be done. Just sayin’.
