More than a thousand people in the Plateau may be without power Monday morning due to a windstorm sweeping through the region.

According to Puget Sound Energy’s outage map, a yet-to-be-determined cause knocked out power to about 500 customers in the Krain area around 7:19 a.m. East of there, another 280 or so lost power from an equipment failure early in the morning, and around 625 customers are out in the Nolte area for an under investigation problem.

Equipment failure this morning also knocked out power to 210 customers on the east side of Battersby Avenue centered around the dog park, and another 100 or so customers are out in the area south of Flaming Geyser State Park.
