THANK YOU

Enumclaw Athletic Association would like to thank everyone involved in making this Wolverine Junior Football and Cheer season a success.

First, the coaches who worked tirelessly in all kinds of weather, not only at all the practices and games, but also in their “off” time. Also the players and cheerleaders who worked so hard and with such determination. You are the best. The team parents who kept all the players and cheerleaders in line. Thank you also to the parents who drove, cheered, volunteered and so much more. We are all volunteers and by having help from so many people, it was a lot of fun.

The Wolverines are so thankful to the community for their support. Coach Don Bartel for his words of inspiration to the players and the mentoring program he set up. Thank you to all the high school players who came out to help. We had a lot of fun cheering you on at your games and appreciate all your support. Thank you to Kim Westerberg and the high school cheerleaders who came out to the CJFL cheer competition to cheer us on.

The Wolverine program has been developing football players and cheerleaders for area high schools for 19 years now and we appreciate your support and encouragement. Thank you to all the former Wolverines who came to our Homecoming game. It is great to see how far you gone on in your athletics and education. The Lee Resturant on Griffin Aveune in Enumclaw, Dirty Brush Arts and Design, USF Reddaway and Educators Benefit Associates were some of our biggest supporters. Thank you to Les Schwab, 5 Star Jeep and Chrysler dealership, White River RV and Wilkeson Eagles for the use of your facilities for our different fundraiser activities. Several of you did so at the last moment. A big thank you to Peak Gymnastices, who opened their gym to us for cheer practice when our practice hall was locked. That extra night of practice helped our cheerleaders win the SPIRT award at our competition.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a fun and successful football/cheer season. See you all at flag football in the spring.

To my community, family, friends and supporters of sixth-grade camp,

As I’m sure you have heard by now, this fall’s sixth-graders have had their sixth-grade camp experience. I have heard only great things from both the sixth-grade teachers and the sixth-grade students. I’ve heard of a night hikes, reptiles and crazy camp counselors. I know from experience that sixth-grade camp is an amazing adventure, one that leaves lasting memories. So I’m writing to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your efforts in getting our sixth-graders there. Kaycee and I feel God has truly blessed us by putting our family in a community of people who work together when a need arises. I could not have achieved this feat without all the support and financial help that was given.

I want to start by specifically thanking those in the school district that not only supported this endeavor but contributed to it. Superintendent Mike Nelson, thank you so much for reading, responding and working with Kaycee and I. You could have stuck with your original decision to cancel camp but instead you worked with me to continue a tradition that our community was not ready to let go. Steve Rabb and Nancy Merrill, you guys are amazing and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to work with you. My life is better for knowing you. To the office staff and teachers, thank you for letting me disturb your daily routines when I needed help or needed to talk with the kids. You never complained, at least to me, and you were always willing to help.

“Thank You” to the local business who contributed or donated supplies along the way. First and foremost I want to thank the Muckleshoot Casino for their very generous contribution of $6,000. Because of your generosity every child that wanted to go to camp was able; no one was turned down due to finances. That is a huge thing and we are truly thankful. Frankie’s Pizza, we want to thank you, for allowing those who wanted to help, to come and eat amazing pizza on “Support Sixth-grade Camp Night.” We were able to raise two full scholarships in one night. You guys are awesome. A big thank you to Buono Coffee Company who allowed us to sell their coffee at such a discount, the fundraiser was a huge success because of you guys. To the following businesses thank you for your contributions in supplies so that we didn’t have to spend the money we were raising. Dr. Nancy Becker, Farmers Tan/Party Deals, the Kettle and Valley Trucking Company. Last but not lease, by any means, the ladies at the Enumclaw branch of Wells Fargo. You guys were an amazing help and you always went the extra mile to help me keep all the finances in check. Thank you.

I don’t want to forget and thank all of you who sent in checks to help with scholarships or to go toward what we needed at the time. I’m truly thankful.

I want to thank all the parents that supported me along the way. You guys didn’t let me give up when I felt overwhelmed; instead you stepped up and took on jobs to relieve me. I know that I couldn’t have succeeded without you guys. Nancy Becker, Tammi Johnson, Heather Boren (and Miss Brook), Lissa Miller, Kellie Andersen, Lisa Williams, Teresa and Scott Quinlan, Kelly Crabb and husband, Sandy Dodge, Mercedes Heep and Jennifer Kruse.

Lastly I want to thank my family and friends for all their support. First off, I want to thank my amazing husband for being patient and supporting me in all that I needed to do, without ever complaining. I love you so much and I couldn’t ask for a better partner in life. To my friends and family, thank you so much for listening and giving me advice in this adventure I was on. You were always willing to help and God has blessed me with you all.

Thanks again,

April Gallagher
