I would sure like to meet this guy, Dan Shannon, the one who wrote “Bin Laden knew Biden wold be a failure — why didn’t voters?” (Published Feb. 9). This guy sure has his facts together. Excellent, truthful and articulate as he laid out the background for his opinion.

I would like to see you, the Enumclaw Courier-Herald, consider getting rid of Elfers who doesn’t do his homework or fact checking before writing his opinion and putting in Shannon full time. A great breath of fresh air.

Everyone has an opinion but Dan Shannon took the time to dredge up facts to back his opinion which made it worth my time to read. I’m glad his heading grabbed my attention since I rarely bother reading the opinion page after realizing most opinions printed are not based on facts.
