Haywood presents senior piano recital at Trinity Lutheran Church

Alison Haywood presented her senior piano recital June 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Haywood, who has been a student in Luanne Kauppila’s piano program for the past six years, performed songs from her early years and contemporary popular songs as well as advanced compositions by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and Chopin.

Her next challenge is starting college at Pacific Lutheran Church in the fall. Along with taking piano lessons, during her high school years Haywood has been involved with accompanying and singing in local choirs, acting in plays and accompanying at church.
