Unofficial election results Nov. 4 show potential winners in the two of the race for the Bonney Lake City Council.
Results posted from the Nov. 3 General Election show Dan Swatman with a 33-vote margin over Andy Gomen for the Ward 1 seat, while Donn Lewis has a 28-voter lead over incumbent Councilman Dave Bowen for the Ward 4 post.
Swatman led Gomen 220 to 193, while Lewis is ahead of Bowen, 256 to 128, according to results posted Thursday afternoon.
Randy McKibbin won the Council-at-Large Position 1 seat, collecting 66 percent of the vote over Lynda Dabson. McKibbin received 1,133 votes to Dabson’s 572.
Mayor Neil Johnson, running unopposed, got 1,567 votes.
In Pierce County Fire District 22, Ron Scholz is the winner for the Commissioner No. 5 seat. He received 57 percent of the votes over Dick Willner.
Raymond Buck III, Karlyne McGinnis and Mike Cathey ran unopposed for the Commissioner No.1, No. 2 and No. 3 seats, respectively. All three received more than 98 percent of the votes.
Countywide, challenger Julie Anderson defeated incumbent incumbent Jan Shabro for county auditor with 49 percent of the voter. Shabro had 41 percent.
Results will be released at 5 p.m. through Nov. 24, excluding weekends and holidays. Results are unofficial until the election is certified.
