Enumclaw Police Reports March 4-7

NO PARKING: Police responded March 7 to a Chinook Avenue address and a report of a vehicle with dealer plates parked in a space requiring a handicap permit. The vehicle had already been cited and the reporting business was advised of options regarding a private impound.

ROAMING GOAT: Police responded March 7 to the vicinity of 244th Avenue Southeast and Warner Avenue after hearing of a goat wandering in traffic. An officer found the animal and was able to reunite it with its owner.

ASSAULT REPORTED: Police learned of an assault that occurred the afternoon of March 6. The victim and witnesses responded to the police station to file a report. The suspect was a male, 15 or 16 years old.

TRAIL TROUBLE: Police took a call the morning of March 5 regarding two men harassing people on the Foothills Trail and asking for rides. The men, who appeared to be transients, later appeared to be making a camp in the woods just off the trail. They were contacted and instructed to leave the area.

TRESPASSING: Police were told March 5 of people trespassing at a Semanski Street location. Contacted was made with four adults, one of whom was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia. All were told to stay away from the property.

PEDESTRIAN HURT: A vehicle vs. pedestrian accident occurred the afternoon of March 4 in the vicinity of Garrett Street and Stevenson Avenue. The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
