Free summer concerts, movies and more in Enumclaw, Buckley and Black Diamond

All three cities have plans for family fun outdoors this summer, and best of all, it’s free.

Editor’s note: This story previously gave incorrect days (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) for several events in Black Diamond, although the dates (July 2, July 22, etc.) were and still are correct. The article has been corrected.

Summer is nearly here, even if it feels like we’ve been stuck in a seasonal time warp since March.

Weather in our slice of the Pacific Northwest has been mostly wet, cool and gray this spring.

That wouldn’t normally be news, but maybe the scorcher from last year’s summer has recalibrated all of our internal thermometers to “Californian” mode.

But Mother Nature has a way of reminding all of us, young or old, that no season lasts forever.

And with summer nearly here, the Courier-Herald has a reminder for you too: Enumclaw, Buckley and Black Diamond each have free, outdoors events for the family scheduled over the next few months.

Whether you’re itching for some R&B and jazz, barbecue and beer, or an animated adventure with a talking donkey, here’s a list of upcoming outdoor events:
