The Enumclaw Hornets continued its winning ways today in the first round of the 3A state softball tournament at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey.

The Enumclaw Hornets continued its winning ways today in the first round of the 3A state softball tournament at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey.

After two solo home runs by star pitcher Quinn Breidenbach, the Hornets beat West Seattle 2-1.

Enumclaw moved on to a 4 p.m. game, currently in the sixth inning against Mount Spokane.

The Hornets lead 5-2 after a two run home run by Breidenbach.

If Enumclaw hangs on, the Hornets will play a 9 a.m. semi final game aganist the winner of Everett verse Kelso.
