AGENCY ASSIST
• An officer responded to a Wilkeson address at 2:29 a.m. Nov. 26 to provide assistance in an assault case. The Enumclaw officer eventually transported one subject to jail.
THREATS MADE
• Police were told Nov. 25 of a threatening message left on a cell phone by the mother of a classmate. Police contacted the woman and advised her to refrain from calling the victim again. She agreed.
UNDERAGE DRINKING
• Police responded to a Roosevelt Avenue address at 11:16 p.m. Nov. 25, following a report of a party where minors were consuming alcohol. One person was taken into custody for furnishing alcohol to minors.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE
• Police were asked to look for a car involved in a case of vehicle prowling in the Buckley area. The report came the morning of Nov. 24. The suspect vehicle was described as a black Mitsubishi with three people on board.
SUSPICIOUS LEAK
• A caller notified police the morning of Nov. 24 of a white truck traveling along Battersby Avenue that had an unknown substance leaking onto the roadway. The vehicle was reportedly marked with a “hazardous material” placard and the leaking substance was leaving a slick coating on the road. An officer located the spill and notified city employees, who were to put absorbent materials in several locations.
DOMESTIC TROUBLE
• Police received a 911 “hangup call” the afternoon of Nov. 24. Upon making a return call, police determined it to be a domestic violence situation where a woman had departed the residence. The woman later called police and was advised to report to the station, where she was taken into custody for fourth-degree assault.
THEFT CHARGE
• Police were advised at 9:06 p.m. Nov. 24 to look for a man reportedly attempting to open doors of downtown businesses. While looking for the man, officers were told the same man had attempted to take a bicycle following an altercation with another person. Officers located the man in the vicinity of Cole Street and Monroe Avenue and arrested him on a theft charge; also noted was a cut on the man’s chin, the result of his earlier altercation.
