Due to time constraints at Tuesday’s April 5 Transportation, Economy and Environment (TrEE) Committee meeting, the 2016 King County Comprehensive Plan chapters scheduled for briefing that day were not able to be discussed.

As a result, the King County Council’s Comprehensive Plan review schedule has been updated to bring these chapters back for discussion at the next TrEE meeting, which will also reschedule review of the remaining chapters as follows:

• Items from April 5 will move to May 3.

• Items originally scheduled for May 3 will move to May 17.

• Items originally scheduled for May 17 will move to June 7.

• The June 7 follow-up discussion will be moved to June 21.

This updated schedule assumes the same tentative dates for voting on the 2016 Comprehensive Plan as the previous schedule:

• Potential action in TrEE on July 19.

• Potential final passage at full Council on September 12.

The updated schedule can be viewed online. Opportunities for in-person public comment are noted on the schedule. Online public comments are also welcome at any time, which can be submitted from the home page of the Council’sComprehensive Plan website by clicking on the “Submit online public testimony” button.
