Officers spoke with the manager of a SR 410 grocery store regarding a shoplifting incident by a juvenile. The manager told officers the juvenile’s father approached him and told him his stepson had concealed merchandise.

Vehicle Prowl: Officers spoke with the reporting party regarding the theft of her laptop from her vehicle. She told officers after she was done unloading her car after moving back to Washington, she noticed her laptop was missing. The last time she saw it, it was laying on the back seat of her car. At the time of the report, there was no further information.

Juvenile Shoplift: Officers spoke with the manager of a SR 410 grocery store regarding a shoplifting incident by a juvenile. The manager told officers the juvenile’s father approached him and told him his stepson had concealed merchandise. The father asked for the store to prosecute due to his stepson’s previous criminal behavior. The juvenile told officers he stole eye drops so his parents would not know when he was high on marijuana. The juvenile was issued a trespass and advised it is effective for a year. This case has been forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor for consideration of charges.
