Sumner City Council will discuss acquiring, condemning 63rd St E property for wastewater treatment facility

Sumner City Council will hold a Mar. 21 meeting to determine the possibility of acquiring and condemning a property to accomodate expansion of the wastewater treatment facility. The residential property is located at 13220 63rd St E, also known as 320 Harrison St.

Sumner City Council will hold a Mar. 21 meeting to determine the possibility of acquiring and condemning a property to accomodate expansion of the wastewater treatment facility. The residential property is located at 13220 63rd St E, also known as 320 Harrison St.

Acquiring a portion of real property adjacent to the facility is necessary for the expansion to take place, according to a notice final action released by the city clerk.

The council will discuss the scope of the project, as well as the reason for potential final action, before it decides whether to approve further ordinances authorizing condemnation.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the council chambers of 1104 Maple St.
