Officers responded to the Sumner School District maintenance building to the report of missing tools. The reporting party told officers, the estimated total for the missing items was $2,875. The missing items include welding accessories, wheelbarrow, welder and other items.

Theft: Officers responded to the Sumner School District maintenance building to the report of missing tools. The reporting party told officers, the estimated total for the missing items was $2,875. The missing items include welding accessories, wheelbarrow, welder and other items.

February 6

Drug Paraphernalia: Officers responded to Mt. View Middle School to the report of a student found with marijuana and a smoking device. The juvenile admitted to officers he had the items in his backpack and planned on smoking after school with his friends. Officers released the juvenile to his grandmother. He was expelled from school. The report has been forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor at Remann Hall for charges.

Warrant: Officers on a routine patrol watched a vehicle make a prohibited u-turn. Once officers made contact with the driver, he was unable to provide a driver’s license, registration or proof of insurance. A records check showed he had a warrant for his arrest out of Milton for third degree theft. The driver was issued citations for his illegal u-turn and for not providing proper identification. Officers transported and released him into the custody of a Milton police officer.
