Tomorrow: Food drive at Mountain View Middle School

Sumner School District is asking parents and guardians dropping off students to detour to the main gym, away from the flag pole loop.

Mountain View Middle School will host a drop-off point for Northwest Harvest and KING 5 News’s Summer Hunger Challenge tomorrow morning. The drop-off point—for non-perishable foods only—will operate from 6:30 to 9 a.m.

A KING news van will be on-site for periodic live broadcasts of donations by Christie Johnson.

Because of the presence of a news van and Northwest Harvest truck, Sumner School District is asking parents and guardians dropping off students to detour to the main gym, away from the flag pole loop. Donors will be able to proceed to a marked area for donations.
